Full of goodness and nutrition, this soup is traditionally served to break the fast in Ramadan and made with lamb, lentils and chickpeas.
I substitute with pork or beef and sometimes vegetarian only, they all work as the spices and fragrance are a beautiful base already.
Spaghetti with Zucchini and Spinach
Vegetarian week continues and this is full of goodness - dark leafy greens make the puree to coat the pasta (which itself is delicious), the zucchini adds more flavour and texture. Based on a recipe by Adam Liaw from SMH.
My favourite.
It has a great kick to it, the nut butter adds depth and thickens it perfectly, the tofu soaks it all up beautifully - I often give a tub of this when friends are sick or need some cooking support in busy times -the carnivores are always so surprised how good it is!
Everyone always asks me for the recipe right after! -here it is!
Greatest Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever
it is a big call by Alessandra who provided this recipe.. but they are a staple in the lunch box now - they are super crunchy and filled with oats and my three kids love them.
Very similar to a Bill Grainger recipe - he adds more oats so feel free to throw in an extra 1/2 cup!
