Recipe of the Week - Greek Spinach and Feta Pie (Spanakopita)

Greek Spinach and Feta Pie (Spanakopita)

This has become a lunch box item on request!

The other interesting and awesome part is the kids now prefer with half kale half spinach!

I use whatever pastry I have and make little sausage roll sizes now and freeze the extras in twos for defrosting one each.

Recipe of the Week - Chao Shao Quick Roast Pork

 Chao Shao Quick Roast Pork

A rekindled family midweek favourite is the Chao Shao Quick Roast Pork - it reminds the kids of the amazing pork at Mr Wong and cooks in 12 minutes!

I cut the fillet up into large pieces as they love the crusty end bits the most so I get more of those morsels to dish out.

I don't have the red bean curd sauce at the moment and it still works well.

Too easy.

Recipe of the Week - Spinach Dahl with Puy Lentils

Spinach Dahl with Puy Lentils

I am cooking up an Indian feast based around my favourite fish curry with fenugreek, and this is always a side dish at my Indian banquets.

I adore puy lentils and spinach is just the most perfect green to have with Indian food.

Recipe of the Week - Meatballs Baked in Passata

Meatballs Baked in Passata

Based on a Jamie Oliver recipe this has been a winner this week.

For the family I roll little ones for the kids to enjoy and leave out the lemon, plus I even made a huge batch so I could serve some at a kiddy birthday gathering without the passata, just served with tomato sauce on the side.

The adults adore the recipe as is, so is a wonderful dinner party meal that you can make well in advance and bake away trough the early part of the evening.
